Overview
SH Energy is a new brand entering the solar and renewable energy market with a mission to help homeowners reduce energy costs and environmental impact through sustainable solutions.
Before starting work on their website, we were approached to develop a strong and adaptable logo that would lead the brand identity and be suitable across all marketing channels — from workwear and vehicle signage to digital platforms and printed materials.
The brief was focused and strategic:

Create a clean, memorable brand mark using the initials “SH”

Make the icon stand alone as a powerful identity symbol for branding, uniforms, and digital use

Develop a flexible identity that would translate well across web, merchandise, and large-format print
Design Process
We began with concept sketches exploring the visual relationship between the S and H initials, experimenting with shapes, spacing, and energy-inspired styling. Early discussions with the client made it clear the logo needed to reflect:

Once the core structure was finalised, we introduced a dynamic bolt-style cut through the initials, subtly referencing solar energy and forward motion without over-complicating the design. The final icon balances sharp lines with smooth edges — creating a modern but approachable identity.
We also developed a clean wordmark to accompany the icon, ensuring it could be used as a primary or secondary logo lockup depending on the platform.
Finally, we tested the logo across key use cases:

The identity passed all tests with clarity and adaptability, ready to grow alongside the business.
The Outcome
The result is a confident, clean, and professional logo that positions SH Energy as a credible, forward-thinking energy provider. It’s bold enough for high-visibility settings, simple enough for digital use, and scalable enough to work across everything from t-shirts to tech.
This project set the foundation for the full website design and launch, which followed shortly after — and gave the client a consistent, future-proofed brand to build upon.
